It's official, CANARM, The Canadian Association for Rainwater Management has been formed.

Earlier this year Van Isle Water sponsored a Level 200 Rainwater Harvesting course conducted by the American Rainwater Catchment Association (ARCSA). In the months that followed it became very evident that there was a great deal of interest in the formation of a non-profit society dedicated to the promotion and standardization of Rainwater Harvesting practices.

As a result a date was set and on April 3, 2012 the first organizational meeting was held in Victoria B.C. to set up this Canadian Rainwater Association.

The meeting was productive, as the attendees decided on a name (CANARM) as well as electing an interim board of directors.

If you are interested in hearing more, or would like to get involved please www.canarm.org for details or contact information.

On behalf of Van Isle Water and the new association we thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you or hearing from you at a future meeting.
