KBI 1/2" Spring Check Valve (MIPT x FIPT)

This 1/2" KBI PVC Adjustable Check Valve can be used for many applications such as avoiding drainage of sprinkler lines from the lowest head or eliminating water hammer. The inlet is a Male Iron Pipe Thread (MIPT), the outlet is a Female Iron Pipe Thread (FIPT). These Check Valves are factory set to open at 5 PSI. Each full clockwise turn of the tension nut adds 1 PSI (2.3 feet of head) to a maximum of 14 PSI.
