The Little Giant LGS-50 is a premium cast iron shallow well jet pump, specifically designed for the reliable supply of fresh water to rural homes, farms, and cabins. Ideal for installations where the suction lift does not exceed 25 feet (7.6 meters), this pump delivers dependable performance in shallow well applications. It features a durable cast iron casing, a factory pre-set 30/50 pressure switch, and dual voltage operation (115/230 V) for flexible installation. The LGS-50 includes a 1-1/4" FNPT (31.7 mm) suction port and a 1" FNPT (25.4 mm) discharge port, along with a pressure gauge and a clean-out plug that allows easy nozzle maintenance. Its glass-filled thermoplastic impeller and diffuser enhance durability and efficiency. The pump is tested and certified by CSA to UL 778 and CSA 108 standards for electrical safety and complies with NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free operation, making it a safe and efficient choice for shallow well water systems.
