A simple guide showing how to winterize your Atlantic Water Gardens Colorfalls

1. Take the pump out of the basin and store it in your home or garage for the winter. See Figure 1

2. Drain as much water as you can from the basin. Any water left must be lower than the bulkhead where the plumbing exits the basin. See Figure 2

3. Draw any remaining water out of the plumbing using a wet-vacuum (ex. shop-vac). See Figure 3

4. It is a good idea to plug the bulkhead with a 1 ½" plug to prevent precipitation or other forms of moisture from entering the plumbing through the basin. See Figure 4
