RBSH (Rain Barrel Soaker Hose) - No Pump, No Pressure, No Problem

One of the issues of small rainwater harvesting systems is how to use the water you have captured. In many cases the homeowners would like to use the water for irrigation, but this usually requires the use of a pump in order to create the pressure required for their system.

Our new line of Mr. Soaker Hose works with zero pressure which makes getting the water to your shrubs and trees simple and cost effective. Simply attach the 3/8" soaker hose to a hose bib on the bottom of a tank or barrel and weave it between your hedge or bushes. It is recommended that you use a 200 micron filter to prevent the soaker hose from clogging and bury the soaker hose in mulch to keep the hose from expanding on hot summer days.

Connecting these soaker hoses could not be easier using our new quick connect fittings. Simply push the soaker hose into the fitting and you have a leak free seal- no clamps, no tools! These compression fittings also work on poly tubing.

        • Rain Barrel Soaker Hose is .580 o.d. and uses .580 compression fittings.
        • Can work with a rain barrel sitting flat on the ground.
        • Best results are achieved if your barrel has an elevation of 2' or higher than the area you are watering
        • Rain Barrel Soaker Hose works with NO PRESSURE!
        • Specifically designed for rain barrels, 55 gallon drums, etc. that have a faucet connection.
        • A pressure regulator is NOT needed for this product. DO NOT attach to yard faucet.
        • This soaker hose is for gravity fed systems ONLY.
        • Rain Barrel Soaker Hose works best when your system is created with a continuous flow.
        • For best results, the hose should be covered with mulch.
        • 200 Mesh Filter is mandatory to prevent soaker hose from clogging! The hot sun beating on the hose can cause it to expand and restrict water flow
